GPU Shark è disponibile solo per Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista e Seven). GPU Shark offre una visione globale di tutte le schede grafiche in una singola finestra. 

GPU Shark può visualizzare per ogni GPU velocità del clock (core GPU, memoria e shader), gli stati delle prestazioni (o PStates), velocità ventola della GPU, e l'utilizzo di GPU / memoria / MCU.

Arctic presenta 2 nuovi dissipatori per cpu: Freezer i11 e Freezer A11

ARCTIC, brand svizzero fondato nel 2001 con sede produttiva  in Hong Kong,  conosciuto in tutto il mondo per la produzione di prodotti destinati al PC-Cooling (cooler, fan e altro) è lieta di annunciare 2 nuovi prodotti dedicati alla dissipazione del calore, si tratta di 2 nuovi dissipatori per Cpu, il Freezer i11 e il Freezer A11, il primo compatibile con processori Intel il secondo con processori AMD. 

 Intel Socket:                        1150, 1155, 1156, 2011

 AMD Socket:                        FM1, FM2 AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2

 

Stando a quanto dichiarato dal produttore entrambi i modelli hanno una potenza massima di dissipazione fino a 150 Watts, corredati con una ventola da 92 mm che va a dissipare il calore, che grazie alle 45 alette in alluminio viene ben dissipato. Le dimensioni di entrambi i dissipatori sono 108x90x130mm con un peso di 480 gr.

 

 Nella confezione troviamo a corredo la pasta termica.

 

Entrambi i dissipatori il Freezer i11 e il Freezer A1 sono  disponibili per l'acquisto ad un prezzo di 34.99 euro.

TMonitor è sviluppato per visualizzare il clock attivo di ogni singolo core di Intel Core 2 e Core i3/i5/i7, nonché i processori AMD K10. Dispone di una  elevata frequenza di refresh (20 volte al secondo) permettendo così di visualizzare la più piccola variazione  in tempo reale. TMonitor è in grado di rilevare  Intel Turbo boost, e consente quindi di visualizzare molto chiaramente il suo effetto, visualizzando nei grafici come  sta lavorando il processore.

Nuovo record mondiale per moduli DDR 3, raggiunti 3,9 GHz

Nuovo record mondiale centrato dall' overclocker Christian Ney, di Ocaholic.ch, realizzato portando a ben 3,9 GHz  di frequenza moduli  G.Skill TridentX F3-2666C11-4GTXD, utilizzando un sistema basato su scheda madre Gigabyte GA-A75-UD4H con sotto un APU AMD A8-3870.

Per riuscire nell'impresa Christian Ney ha utilizzato due tolotti Kingpin realizzati e progettati per essere utilizzati con l'azoto liquido, e grazie a questa soluzione le temperature sono state costantemente tenute sotto controllo e registrate le seguenti temperature.: processore a  190° e i moduli RAM a 120° gradi centigradi, con timing delle memorie settati a CL14 14-14-36 2T.

Sono stati effettuati altri test di  overclock per riuscire a raggiungere la soglia dei 4 GHz. ma pultroppo dopo 6 ore di sessioni di benck la cpu è saltata, non riuscendo nell'impresa, comunque nonostante questo inconveniente,  Complimenti a Christian Ney per aver raggiunto 3,9 GHz  di frequenza.
